Tired of getting talked down to at the gun counter?
You walk up to the counter and wait while nobody looks up. You ask a simple question and get talked down to.
Then you get steered toward whatever the shop needs to move that month. Ask about a suppressor, and nobody gives you a straight answer on the paperwork or the wait. You pay more than you should the whole way through.
We opened Lakeside Munitions because we were tired of it too. Forsyth County deserved better, so we built the shop we wanted to walk into ourselves.
You get a straight answer, whether it is your first pistol or your fifth suppressor. The prices are posted before you ask: $40 transfers, no transfer fee on a suppressor you buy here, and a posted price for every gunsmithing job.

How much is an FFL transfer?
$40 for a standard firearm. $100 for a suppressor or anything on an NFA form bought somewhere else, and no transfer fee at all on a suppressor you buy from us or directly from Silencer Shop. Flat fee, not a percentage.
I bought a gun online. What happens now?
Pick Lakeside Munitions as your FFL at checkout and have it shipped here. We process transfers the same day they arrive, any day we're open, and call you right away. Bring a valid ID, fill out the 4473 with us, and take it home. A valid Georgia Weapons Carry License stands in for the background check. A temporary renewal license does not.
How long do suppressor approvals actually take?
Filing as an individual, approvals are running 2 to 3 days right now, and they can take up to 21 days. Filing through a trust can take up to a month. Once you're approved, you fill out a standard 4473 and take it home. We will tell you where you stand before you buy, not after.
Will you buy my gun?
Yes. Bring in one gun or a whole safe, with a photo ID and the original box, magazines and accessories if you have them. We appraise using a national average and make you a fair cash offer on what we can buy. The appraisal is free and there is no obligation to sell. We may not buy every gun in a collection. We also buy from estate collections and work with several local estate sale companies.
